To open application preferences dialog, select "File → Preferences" menu item.

To apply changes of settings, press "Apply" button. To apply changes and close the dialog box, press "Ok". "Cancel" button will close the dialog box, discarding all unapplied changes.

General settings

  • Display splash screen
    If option is on, splash screen will be displayed at application startup
  • Animate changes
    If option is on, cluster map image will be animated on regeneration. You can turn animation off if it causes performance problems on your system.
  • Maximum duration
    If cluster map animation is on, this slider allows to limit the length of animation.
  • Scale to fit window
    If the option is on, the cluster map size will be automatically adjusted for the screen space of the panel (no scrollbars are appeared). You also can change this option with the Cluster map toolbar button, or with "View → Cluster Map → Scale to fit window" menu item.
  • Number of results per page
    Define a number of items to be displayed on a single results page when List View mode of the Details panel is used.

Privacy

AutoFocus stores the search terms and server names you use for the purpose of auto-completing your input. To protect your privacy, you can clear these histories using "Privacy" tab buttons:

  • Clear search history
  • Clear server history

Connection settings

On "Connection" tab you can define the network proxy settings, if needed. To enable proxy connection, select "Manual proxy configuration" option.

Set proxy names or IP-addresses and ports for various types of connections (HTTP, HTTP(S), FTP, Socks). Enter addresses you do not want to use via the proxy (separating with a semicolon).

To disable using proxies, select "Direct internet connection" option.
