Aduna AutoFocus is an instrument for personal and enterprise information management. It helps you to search and find information on your PC, network disks, mail boxes and selected websites. Furthermore, AutoFocus Server sources lets you easily explore and access enterprise information sources.
AutoFocus has the ability to scan all the places where you expect valuable information and provides powerful means for retrieving that information. The important advantage over similar tools is that AutoFocus presents the search results using facets and Cluster Maps. Facets allow to find documents on more than just keywords and the visualisation provided by the Cluster Maps allows you to see how files, web pages or emails are related.
The birds-eye view helps you gain insight in information that is available on combinations of keywords. In each step of your search it shows the number of documents that match your search (and of course a link to the documents themselves) so that you can effectively zoom in to find what you seek.
Setting up AutoFocus on your computer takes little time. Install the software, define the sources to search and explore and let AutoFocus scan the sources.
Searching with AutoFocus is also easy. Start as if you are using a familiar search engine by entering a search term, or choose any value from the other information facets. Let AutoFocus help you to refine your question with a list of suggested refinements. Use Cluster Maps to get a comprehensive overview of the available information.
Key benefits of Aduna AutoFocus are:
- One tool to find them all: with AutoFocus you can find information in many places where you expect valuable information to be found: local and network drives, websites and e-mail.
- Guided Exploration: AutoFocus helps you find information with faceted navigation, suggestions and Cluster Maps, providing a level of insight and control you are not likely to achieve with traditional desktop search solutions.
